| Take the perfect before and after shot on your iPhone with TakeTwo Posted: 20 Mar 2011 12:30 PM PDT Oakleigh, Australia – It’s often said that a picture is worth a thousand words, and nothing tells a story better than a before and after photo. yianni-software’s latest iPhone app, TakeTwo 1.0, gets you to take a photo and then allows you to use the original photo as a guide to take your after photo. It ensures you have the right perspective and distance to compare your photos. “The app was conceived when I was performing a modification to my motorbike. I wanted to take my after shot in context of my before shot.”, states Alex of yianni-software. The innovative iPhone app can either use a photo from your Library, or a new photo to use as your ‘before’ photo. By overlaying this image when taking your ‘after’ photo it allows the photographer to position the shot within context of the original photo. “The beauty of the app is that it can be used for anything around the house, whether it be in the garden, in the house or on your vehicles.”, says Alex. Here are just some common uses: “It doesn’t stop there; you can use it for fitness to track how much better you look after hitting that gym for so long”, adds Alex. TakeTwo supports the ease of sharing with friends/family via the ever-popular Twitter and Facebook which is integrated within the app. Sending your pictures via email or straight to your photo library is also supported. yianni-software has yet again engaged KT Design for their appealing graphics and UI design as they have with previous titles of FootballName, Laddersnake, Chance! HD and Donkeyboy. “Working with Kiet is always fresh and always brings out the best in our work”, says Alex. TakeTwo notches yianni-software’s 14th iOS application. | Turn Your iPad Into A Retro Stereo with Stereolizer-iPad App Video Posted: 20 Mar 2011 05:30 AM PDT iPad App Video Summary-Back in the day I use to listen to music with my Technics stereo receiver and tap deck. Through the unrelenting creativity of app developers Lesmobilizers has created an iPad app that allows me to once again listen to music on my iPad with the look and feel of a retro stereo receiver/tape deck. Beyond just the look and feel of a retro receiver this app allows me to set 30 preset internet music stations out of a whopping 10,000 world wide internet radio stations. There is a functioning tape deck that allows users to record streaming music for later playback on a virtual cassette tape. The help explanations on setting music could be a little more descriptive, but overall this iPad app is excellent and provides a fantastic retro feel for music consumption. Watch the iPad app video below for a walkthrough of this iPad application. | Buy An App & Help Japan-Sonic The Hedgehog iPhone App Review Posted: 19 Mar 2011 08:00 PM PDT iPhone App Review-Japan was struck with a horrible earthquake a week ago along with an equally devastating tsunami. Sega has been running a donation program toward the Japanese relief effort where through 03/20/11 they are donating all proceeds from the sale of various app titles (Sonic Spinball, Sonic The Hedgehog 2, Sonic The Hedgehog 4) including Sonic The Hedgehog. This is a classic gaming app that I first played on the Sega console gaming system in the 1980′s. Sonic The Hedgehog is still a great game now on the iPhone as multiple titles. Get one of the Sonic iPhone apps and support the Japanese earthquake/tsunami relief efforts.
