Windows Phone 7 surges past the 10,000 app milestone

We may have to wait an extra week or two for Windows Phone 7's first major update to drop, but Microsoft's new mobile platform just hit another big milestone. The WiFi-only model of the Motorola XOOM has been the star of a couple of leaks in the past couple of weeks, suggesting that we could finally see the device arrive at the end of this month or early the next.
