| ABC’s Have Never Been So Fun-ABC Expedition iPad App Video Posted: 11 Mar 2011 05:30 AM PST  iPad App Video Summary-Learning your ABC’s has never been so easy and fun now with the iPad app ABC Expedition by Meldmedia Inc. This iPad app features the whimsical character Captain Wallace who guides users through a zoo of alphabet animals. Each animal starts with a letter of the alphabet and has a unique interaction they give the user in this application. Each letter also has pronunciation by Captain Wallace and a young child for pronunciation. Captain Wallace also speaks the whole word for each animal to help children sound out the letter. The animal interactions are fun and users can also tap on the animal to hear the unique sound the animal makes, once the interactive animation plays through the first time. The navigation is very child like, which is good. The navigation appears on the bottom of the screen once the short interactive animation is complete. Users can then go backwards or forwards in the alphabet with the horizontal arrows. Captain Wallace is also on the bottom left and by tapping on his hat users can go directly to the home screen. Once users access their first letter while using the application they will open up the zoo, which can then be accessed from the home screen by a virtual tab on the near bottom left. The zoo tab has all the animals in once collection and allows users to press on them to hear their unique sound. I wish I could have used ABC Expedition to learn my abc’s. CM

| Grave Defense Silver-Awesome FREE Tower Defense Android App Posted: 10 Mar 2011 07:08 PM PST  Android App Review-Android games are still lacking in comparison to the massive amount and quality of games available for the iPhone. However, Grave Defense Silver is a better than average Android game that provides users plenty of game play for free. With 7 levels of game play and 2 different game play modes (story & survival) users get a great value without spending a dime. This game is no push over with several difficulty settings, even the easy setting being a challenge. There is a backstory to the game, but I mostly ignore these due to my A.D.D., typically jumping right into the game, this game was no different. Grave Defense has a sister game, which his paid called appropriately enough, Grave Defense Gold. As far as tower defense games go Grave Defense Silver is very good and for the amount of game play the user gets without spending a dime this Android app is awesome. http://www.twitter.com/crazymikesapps
