This application takes full advantage of the iPhone 4 hardware as well as what is under the hood. From the opening screen it is evident that CrescentMoonGames took their time with meticulous graphics and it has paid off because Gears is at the #9 place in paid apps overall in the iTunes App Store. Don’t be surprised to see this app in the #1 slot in the near future. The game is a ball rolling game, using skill not to fall off and break your ball or orb. There are obstacles and other items you want to watch out for as well as power up points objects that will increase your score. The cool thing about this game is while there may only be 3 worlds and 27 levels, the time for level completion ranges from 20 seconds to 10 minutes. It does not take a brain surgeon to figure out that the later levels must be impossible. To that point as well the replay value of this game is huge since there are 4 difficulty settings. Gears is a very well designed iPhone game with unbelievable graphics not to mention game play. Watch the iPhone app video for a demonstration of this application. CM

| TweetBot…Stunning Twitter Client-iPhone App Review Posted: 29 Apr 2011 10:30 AM PDT  iPhone App Review- TweetBot is possibly the most gorgeous Twitter client available for the iPhone and iPod touch. The user interface (UI) is what really makes it stand out among the rest. It keeps things fairly simple but the sheer usability and features that this app packs make it shine. It offers every feature you could want, plus more. You can have multiple accounts setup and easily switch between them. Once inside of the account, you get your entire timeline. Depending on how many times you tap a tweet, you can access different parts of the tweet itself, or use it as a shortcut to reply to the tweet. The app has sound effects to help you know when new tweets are ready to be read. Of course it has your mentions and DMs easily accessible. But another neat feature is that when you update your timeline or mentions, it will tell you in a tiny bar of how many new tweets are there. This is extremely helpful when you receive as many tweets as I do. The 2 navigation bars on the far right are customizable to favorites, retweets, and search bar. You can easily reply, retweet, favorite, or check details of any tweet that you see. It could use push notifications but there are 3rd party apps for that. Overall, I highly recommend that any twitter user checks out TweetBot. Slimothy

This new iPad title, which has been out on the iPhone/iPod Touch for some time now is that much better on the bigger, sexier iPad. There are 3 different game modes play now, campaign, and multi-player (local), which provide quite a bit of game play. The iPad version, like the iPhone game is 2 on 2 arcade style basketball. Users may choose from any of the 30 NBA teams to play as and there are unlockable players to spice up future games, which allows for plenty of replay. The directional control is very good on the left side, but the pass, turbo, and shooting controls will take a bit of getting use to on the lower right side. NBA Jam by EA Sports for iPad is the very best basketball app in the iTunes App Store. CM
