| Fun, Interactive Kid’s iPad Book-”Finding Nemo: My Puzzle Book” iPad App Review Posted: 01 May 2011 12:30 PM PDT  iPad App Review-Finding Nemo was a hit Disney movie several years ago, now this great story has made it to the iPad as “Finding Nemo: My Puzzle Book.” The app, created by Disney Enterprises Inc. is a very well made interactive book application with several puzzles to complete while reading the book. The puzzles range from easy to difficult, but were generally made for children to they are not too difficult.
The app has fairly good navigation, with an individual page view as well as a general table of contents that can be accessed by tapping on Mickey Mouse in the lower left corner and is available on all pages. The book has quite a bit of content for the price point of $0.99 as well as being a universal app that allows it to be used on the iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad. Finding Nemo: My Puzzle Book is a great book for kid’s, especially younger kid’s who like Disney stories. Watch the iPad app review video for a demonstration of this application. CM

| ARDefender – Augmented Reality Defense Game iPhone App Review Posted: 01 May 2011 08:00 AM PDT  iPhone App Review- ARDefender is a one-of-a-kind app that might be best just to show off what your device is capable of. In the way of replayability, AR Defender lacks quite a bit. Basically you buy the app and it will prompt you to go to your PC and print out a piece of paper with three different sections. There are little squares that you cut out and place on the floor. They consist of a tower in the middle surrounded by black dots. When you open the app and point the camera toward the piece of paper, a tower will appear on the screen. Yes, this means that you can put up a tower just about anywhere. Cool right? Well the gameplay is lacking. Really all you do is shoot at different enemies that come to attack your tower. You can get a few different weapons, but the core gameplay becomes stale quickly. Also, if you don't have a very steady hand, the game might be difficult for you because as of now if you jolt your device around a lot, it will lose the image of the tower and all you will see is a piece of paper. Overall, it's a great idea using cutting edge technology, however, it fails in execution. That being said, It's a great conversation starter, but by no means is it a true hardcore game. Slimothy

The developers at Spy Parent LLC have created Bully Block for the Android platform that provides a simple solution to deal with unwanted phone calls or SMS messages and more. Bully Block can block any phone number (private or unknown) for phone and SMS messaging. The user interface is extremely easy to use and has a log file to keep track of all your blocking activities. | Learn To Create 3D Graphics on Your iPad with “BTG: Part 1″ iPhone App Video Posted: 30 Apr 2011 06:03 PM PDT  iPad App Video Summary-Creating 3D graphics is a challenging prospect even for the most creative individuals. BTG: Part 1, by Karl Grant/Emotion Studio is a very well made iPad app that provides an extensive amount of information to begin learning 3D graphics using Maya 3D software package. There are over 4 hours of footage wrapped up into 48 individual video tutorials. The tutorials cover the following categories: 1) Intro to Interface, Modeling Basics, Texturing Basics, and Lightening and Rendering. This app is very well made with beautiful 3D graphics throughout. The developer Karl Grant even offers some personalized help on your 3D projects through his Facebook fan page or through email.
