| Stream Thousands of Radio Stations on Your iPhone with Live365 Radio Posted: 03 May 2011 09:00 AM PDT  Live365 Radio App SummaryThe Live365 Radio, iPhone app is a company media channel to the website www.live365.com, which provides FREE radio streaming on the web. This music service has both a FREE use and a V.I.P. use, which is subscription based on a monthly to yearly basis. Additionally, Live365radio.com offers individuals the opportunity to have their own radio station for a low monthly fee (depending on listeners). The FREE portion of this app allows for access to over 250 music genera’s and at least 1,000 radio stations. Upgrading to the V.I.P. service will provide users access to over 7,000 radio stations. I used only the FREE service while testing Live365 Radio on my iPhone 4 and it worked extremely well. There was a great selection of music and the streaming was high quality with no cut outs or fade aways. Live365 Radio is a great music app for the iPhone with both professional and amateur radio stations. Watch the iPhone app video for a demo of this application. While the functionality is sure to impress the staunchest star gazer the graphics will blow any breathing person away. Graphics of the planets, stars, moons, and other celestial objects are truly amazing. As far as functionality goes, there are pictures of the day (pushed), now details on planets/moon, calendar of events, and too much to list in this summary. | Retro Arcade Classic “Streets of Rage 2″ Fights Nicely on the iPhone Posted: 02 May 2011 05:57 PM PDT  Streets of Rage 2 App Summary-I have played a lot of “Streets of Rage 2” at the arcade in my day. This retro themed arcade and console game has made its way onto the iPhone and iPod Touch and it is quite a nice play. The game play is classic action fighter game play while progressing through ever increasing difficult levels of game play. There are boss battles, weapons to use, and power ups to find to increase your health and offensive capabilities. The sounds and graphics are clearly authentic to the game, which make this a real flashback to my youth as I played through the game. There are 4 different characters you can play as and there is a cool multi-player feature (locally) where users can play side to side in the app. A couple of negatives. The app is not sexy in presentation such as options and help or how to play and the price is a little ridiculous. I am guessing SEGA is going after the title and has the attitude that users will buy it at the inflated price of $2.99, when it would actually sell better at the $0.99 price point.
