| Get Macho – Bull Stampede Pro and Lite Charge on to the App Store Posted: 23 Mar 2011 09:00 AM PDT  Brisbane, Australia – Game development company Dobsoft Studios is please to announce the release of “Bull Stampede Pro” and “Bull Stampede Lite” on Apple’s App Store today, offering gamers a fun new take on the endurance gameplay genre. Players assume the role of the world’s greatest matador, tasked with luring an out-of-control stampede away from civilization. While dodging the oncoming bulls using intuitive touch controls, pulling off impressive combo chains and dealing with the gradually increasing difficulty, the player will also encounter damsels in distress (dressed rather unfortunately in red) and have the opportunity to rescue them. Doing so fills up their Macho Meter; in turn, a full Macho Meter transforms the matador into a muscular beefcake and allows him to knock the bulls out instead of avoiding them. Knocking out enough bulls makes the difficulty level drop down again, giving players a chance to prolong their game and reach lofty heights on the global Openfeint and Game Center leaderboards. Dobsoft Studios’ founder William Dobson was pleased with the successful launch of the two Bull Stampede titles. “We think Bull Stampede has just the kind of pick-up-and-play gameplay that iPhone users are looking for. The Android app works much the same as the iPhone app, with a little less functionality currently. However, this app scans in business cards with an awesome quality percentage during testing on my Droid X. You can view your scanned business cards in list or cover flow, which is an extremely nice feature. While in a business card you can call, SMS, forward/quick intro as well as other functionality. This app as the iPhone app allows business cards to be scanned into devices in 22 different languages. There is also a clip board for copying and pasting text. | Dodgeball on the iPad? Danger! Dodgeball HD iPad App Video Posted: 22 Mar 2011 03:30 PM PDT  iPad App Video Summary-Dodgeball is a game of reflex that some are better at than others. In this day and age dodgeball has been done away with at many schoolyards because of it’s competitiveness and potential humiliation, i.e. getting hit in the face with the dodgeball. Thankfully, dodgeball is now available on the iPad with the new app Danger! Dodgeball HD by Robot Stampede. Additionally, this application is also available on the iPhone as both a free and paid iPhone game app. The iPad app as well as the iPhone app uses the accelerometer for all game play controls, which is pretty cool. The player dodges balls by tilting the idevice to the left or right and throws balls by tiling the idevice forward. There are power ups and special points to be had during game play users can discover. During arcade game play the game quickly heats up and becomes more difficult as the user progresses through levels. Danger! Dodgeball HD is a fun well priced game for the iPad.
