Goosed Up Rhymes breaks the boundaries that confined previous reader apps. By combining ground-breaking engineering with the talents of feature animation artists, Brain Freeze Entertainment creates a fully animated, highly interactive experience that will raise the bar and deliver the entertainment promised for the iPad. “We saw something was missing from children’s reader apps. They didn’t offer the level of interactivity and animation we felt was key to creating a really fun app. However, the iPad’s limited processor wasn’t designed for the memory intensive demands of playing multiple animations. That limitation, combined with lack of creativity, had defined the market. It was our challenge to change that. Goosed Up Rhymes takes full advantage of the form and functionality of the iPad, using children’s own curiosity as the navigation tool to launch their exploration of each beautifully illustrated nursery rhyme and game. Once they hear Mother Goose read the story, they will be encouraged to touch the screen to find over 70 hidden animations and gather all eight “golden acorns” for the squirrel. To show their deep gratitude, they have launched a free update of their game Operation Wow that includes innovations such as the “Ultra Hard Endless Mode”, a new game mode that will boost their novel multi-touch fire system. Ivanovich Games, the Spanish developers of iPhone and iPad games, wish to thank the almost 2,500 people who bought any of their games last Wednesday 23rd March in order to help those affected by the Japan earthquake.
