Facebook Slider iPad Puzzle Game-Frequence for Facebook iPad App

Posted: 01 Mar 2011 10:00 AM PST

iPad App Review

Facebook is the world’s most popular social networking site, naturally, there are numerous iPad apps related to this social network. But, not one allows you to play a slider puzzle game with your Facebook friends profile pictures other than “Frequence for Facebook” by Rishi Games. This iPad app allows users to log into their Facebook accounts and once log in, play a series of 20 slider puzzle levels that get really difficult. This is a pretty cool idea leveraging your friends faces as puzzle pieces, nice way to keep friends “top of mind.” A neat feature is the ability to tap on a friends face and turn this app into a full Facebook browser app complete with all friends details, wall postings, and other friend information. Twenty levels may not seem like enough game play, however, I got stumped on level 3. Frequence for Facebook is a fun personalized Facebook friend slider puzzle game that will help you keep your friends on your mind. CM

iPad Remote Photo App-BlueCam Premium Edition iPad App

iPad App Review

Turn your iPad in a remote control for an iPhone with the BlueCam Premium Edition iPad app. This application is a universal iPhone/iPad app that sells for $0.99. The app works as a fully functional photography app for the iPhone with features such as: 9x zoom, anti-shake control, timer, burst, delay picture settings, auto flash (torch), share/auto share capabilities to Facebook, Flickr, Twitter and much more. The cool functionality comes with the ability to connect an iPhone with the iPad through either bluetooth or Apple Game Center. Bluetooth connectivity will allow for live preview on the iPad using the iPhone camera, ability to change settings on the iPhone with the iPad, and the capability to send media between devices. The Game Center functionality works similar, but Apple Game Center does not allow for media files to be transmitted through their network. The Apple Game Center remote functionality provided the opportunity as well to track a person using Google maps while watching what is on their iPhone, which is pretty cool for $0.99. BlueCam Premium Edition is very good camera application and a neat idea on how to share live preview from an iPhone to an iPad. I look forward to the iPad 2 and the increased capabilities this iPhone app will offer. CM
